The Care2Share Trust, New Zealand supported the distribution of food baskets to 150 needy families during the financial crisis through the Resilience Foundation. Each family received a food basket worth SLR 7000. The Volunteers for Resilience (V4R) identified these needy families in their communities distributed across the island.

The volunteers procured and distributed the food basket to the families locally through the grant they received. The whole donation process was managed through an online platform on the Kobo Tool Box by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Resilience places in note the excellent compassion, commitment, and leadership of Youth For Resilience volunteers during the Care2Share project.
